To check if your gas bottle is leaking, spray soapy water on the gas cylinder fittings (connections). If gas is leaking, the soapy water will bubble.
If you confirm a leak, turn off your connection immediately and phone us.
It depends on what you are using it for. If you only use for cooking, a 45kg bottle should last 12-18 months. If you are using for cooktop and hot water, a 45kg bottle should last up to 6 weeks during winter, and up to 12 weeks in summer. Depending on the number of occupants in the household.
If you are using gas for cooking, heating & hot water, in winter, a 45kg bottle can last up to 4 weeks.
